Story
For Jacob George I will be 50 just 5 days before the race which i last ran in 2007. Jacob never saw his dad run a marathon. On Sunday 13th April 2014 i will use the time i have alone on the road to think of him. Supporting Meningitis Now is a way of helping others who need more help than me. True acts of support and kindness
20th May 2014Today is Tuesday 20th May 2014 just over a month after I ran London and somewhat ironically, 3 days after I have just run the White Peak Marathon. I am sitting in my office and a colleague with whom I have worked for 20 years has just given me £50 towards my London fund. With all the terrible things in life, it is something else when such unexpected kindness and support shows itself.
