Well, after getting anxious about so many injuries and even catching a cold I managed to achieve my goal with a 3.17.00 run thereby qualifying as a Good for Age 50 year old runner. I went off fast, did a 1.34.40 half, continued strong until 20 then fought hard as I died in the last 6 miles. The number of shouts of "Jacob" was amazing and really pushed me on. Thank you once more to all of my supporters of this event. It means a lot to me.
