My 10th London Marathon

15th October 2015
After 51 years of trying all sorts of things it is very nice to be told by the very kind London Marathon people that you are"Good for your Age" and as a result you can have a place in their race next year. This will actually be my 10th London Marathon and 20th Marathon overall so I hope that I know what I'm doing and can have a reasonable run. That said, it is my current intention to try to roll back the clock and to achieve a time in the 3.10 ~ 3.15 region, something I have previously only bettered once. Running London is very special to me and even more so since Jacob is no longer with us. As previously in the last 2 years I will wear his name on my Meningitis Now vest and use this special time to be together with him. I have run so many races before, and received very generous support, but I hope to find a few more new sponsors who will recognise the good cause I support and help me to add a little more to Jacobs tribute fund.
